Shipping Policy

Delivery arrangements for NFTs differ from purchases made on hedonism.co.uk. Physical bottles linked to NFTs are delivered only following redemption and are subject to legal, customs, and carrier restrictions. Retail delivery options, timeframes, and promotions do not apply to NFT redemptions unless explicitly stated.

Delivery information

Hedonism Wines offers secure, professional delivery of fine wine and spirits, working with specialist carriers experienced in handling premium bottles. This page provides general information about the delivery and collection of physical bottles redeemed from the Hedonism Wines tokenised asset (RWA) platform.

Delivery options, charges, and availability are confirmed at the point of redemption.

Each tokenised bottle/RWA available on the platform is represented by a blockchain-based non-fungible token (NFT) that functions as the digital certificate associated with the corresponding physical asset.

Delivery of redeemed bottles

Physical bottles associated with tokenised assets (RWA) can be delivered once a redemption request has been completed and confirmed. Each tokenised asset is represented by a corresponding NFT recorded on the blockchain.  

Delivery availability depends on:

  • The destination country or region;

  • Local regulations governing the shipment and import of alcohol;

  • Carrier availability and service levels.

Supported destinations may change from time to time. The Platform will confirm whether delivery is available to your destination during the redemption process.  

Delivery times

Indicative delivery timeframes are shown during redemption. Delivery times vary   
depending on destination, customs clearance, and carrier capacity.  
Hedonism Wines cannot guarantee delivery dates and is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, carriers, or circumstances beyond our control.  

Age verification

All deliveries of alcohol are subject to age restrictions.

  • You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence to redeem a   
    tokenised bottle associated with an NFT

  • Age verification may be required at redemption and or on delivery  

  • Carriers may refuse delivery if age cannot be verified, if the recipient is absent,   
    or if the recipient appears intoxicated

Where delivery cannot be completed for these reasons, additional charges or delays may apply.

Duties, taxes, and customs

Unless stated otherwise, customers are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and customs charges in the destination country.  
These charges are set by local authorities and are outside Hedonism Wines’ control. Failure to pay required charges may result in delays, return of the shipment, or cancellation.  
Customers are advised to check local import requirements before requesting   
redemption.

Packaging and handling

Bottles are packed securely using appropriate protective packaging designed to safeguard wine and spirits in transit. Despite careful handling, transit risks cannot be fully eliminated.

Failed delivery

Delivery may fail due to:  

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details  
  • Absence of the recipient  
  • Inability to verify age
  • Refusal by customs or local authorities

In these cases, shipments may be returned or held by the carrier. Additional fees for re-delivery, return shipping, or additional storage may apply.  

Collection from Hedonism Wines

Where offered for a specific release, redeemed bottles may be collected in person from Hedonism Wines in Mayfair.

  • Collection is by appointment only
  • Valid photo identification and age verification are required
  • Collection details and time limits are confirmed during redemption

Failure to collect within the stated timeframe may result in additional storage fees or cancellation, in accordance with the applicable terms.

Restricted destinations

Some countries and regions prohibit the import of alcohol or require additional   
licences or documentation.  
Where delivery is not legally permitted:  

  • Redemption may be suspended  
  • You may be required to hold the NFT representing the tokenised bottle/RWA until delivery becomes possible
  • You may choose to transfer or gift the NFT, subject to the applicable terms
