The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 in Craigellachie, Moray. Famous for their use of ex-Sherry casks, Macallan has become one of the world`s most sought-after single malts in recent years.

This 55YO released is presented in a stunning Lalique decanter.

The Macallan Lalique II, a 55 Year Old single malt, is the second release in the celebrated Six Pillars Collection and was launched in 2007. Crafted by The Macallan, it showcases whisky matured for more than five decades, reflecting both patience and traditional sherry cask ageing.

The whisky is presented in an amber tinted crystal decanter created by Lalique, inspired by a classic René Lalique perfume bottle. Limited to just 420 bottles worldwide, it stands as a rare and highly collectable release.

In the glass, it highlights The Macallan’s commitment to natural colour and depth of flavour, offering rich notes of oak, dried fruits and citrus, complemented by a gentle thread of peat smoke.
