The nose features a beguiling blend of dried fruit, peat smoke & black cherry while the palate displays yet more soft peat smoke ahead of a long, full finish. This whisky is bottled at 48.5% ABV.

The Macallan 57 Year Old Lalique, the third release in the Six Pillars series titled The Finest Cut, is a profoundly rich and contemplative single malt that exemplifies the sherry cask heritage of The Macallan.

The profile is layered and expansive, revealing dried fruits such as raisin and black cherry alongside vanilla, polished oak and warming spice. A gentle trace of soft peat adds depth without overshadowing the whisky’s natural sweetness and structure. The palate is composed and powerful, unfolding gradually and leading into a long, soft and resonant finish that reflects both age and balance.

Presented in an elegant crystal decanter crafted by Lalique, this release was bottled in 2009 and limited to just 400 bottles worldwide. It stands as a refined and authoritative expression of long aged Macallan, combining concentration, elegance and historical significance in equal measure.
